3.-CAPITANERY OF THE PORT. OFFICES:
The capitanery is the centre of Marina’s activity and from there following services are held:
-Marina management and Direction.
-Reception, registration and billing of visitor yachts and Community of Owners’ Management.
-Weather report and communications (VHF Channel 9).
-Showers and restrooms (Timetable in summer: 08:30 to 13:30 and 17:30 to 21:30, July and August until 23:00).
-Internet service point.
-Post box rental.
SUMMER TIME TABLE:
MONDAYS TO FRIDAYS: 09:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00
SAT., SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS: 09:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00
WINTER TIME TABLE:
MONDAYS TO FRIDAYS: 09:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 19:00
Every yacht willing to stay in this port is expected to call on VHF Channel 9 and follow Marina’s instructions, or by arrival, moor on the waiting quay, take vessels documents to the office and fill in the registration form and booking the services required.
Before departure, the user is expected to advise with 24 h. anticipation and settle the services received. Berth has to be free by 12 a.m. on the departure day, any delay in leaving the berth will mean an additional charge of the current tariff for one day’s stay.
-Lift and launching of yachts with 60 tn. travel-lift or 5 tn. forklift.
-Hard standing (dry dock).
-Water pressure machine rental (for hull cleaning).
-Towing of vessels (in the port)
-Water and electricity supply 220 v and 380 v. (no meter, price per day of use).
TIMETABLE FOR THE SHIPYARD:
MONDAYS TO FRIDAYS: 08:30 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 18:00
SATURDAYS: 08:30 to 11:00
-Lifting or any other service has to be booked at the office. The Marina staff will provide the proper form, where the estimated duration of the hard standing has to be declared.
-It is recommended to lift the vessel with the minimum fuel possible in the tanks. Also any heavy and not essential equipment is recommendable to be disembarked before lifting.
-When the hard standing period is extended without justification (regarding kind of boat, services required and duration declared) the Marina Management may charge extraordinary tariffs and urge the owner to launch the vessel.
-Before launching or leaving the yard, the owner is expected to settle the bill for the received services in the office.
-The yard is insured against any damage caused by our staff when moving vessels.
-Vehicles are not allowed in the hard standing area. If entrance of materials of any kind of equipment is needed, the user must be previously authorized by the shipyard manager.
-Emergency service available 24 h. by calling Channel 9 on VHF or telephone 971-311711. The tariff for an emergency service will be the double of the normal service.
